These are the secret sayings which the living Jesus spoke and which Didymos Judas Thomas wrote down.
And he said, Whoever finds the meaning of these sayings shall not taste death.

The Gospel of Mark provides a similar saying, but with an apocalyptic orientation:

And he said to them, Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.
